Sridhar is a graduate in Physics with post-graduation in Management from IIM Calcutta (1973). He has had a diverse career with significant achievements in the field of HR and leadership
Sridhar’s career began with Employee Relations responsibilities, and he steadily advanced to assume broader HR roles. He achieved the position of the head of HR at Berger Paints, Calcutta, at a young age.
He moved to Mumbai to become the HR Director of Cadbury India. Here, he oversaw significant transformations in manufacturing activities, resulting in cost reduction and increased EBITDA levels. He also modernized various HR practices, including Performance Management.
Sridhar took on an international assignment at Cadbury Schweppes in the UK. He launched the Growing Our People program for Line Managers, emphasizing coaching principles. He also led the “Building the Commercial Capability” initiative across the EMEA region.
Upon his return to India, he joined the Murugappa Group as their HR Director and became a member of the Corporate Board. He also served as the Lead Director for the diversified business group.
After his tenure with the Murugappa Group, Sridhar joined Loyola Institute of Business Administration as a Professor and Chairperson of the Management Development Centre. Subsequently, he served as the MD & CEO of Adrenalin eSystems Limited, a digital HR company based in Chennai. Following a successful term, he transitioned to become an independent consultant and leadership coach.
Sridhar has authored two books, “Leadership, Mindsets and Change” and more recently, “the HR Superstar.” He is also passionate about social causes and actively participates in various social initiatives.
